Pair Work is the learners work in pairs. One of the main motivations to
encourage pair work in English classes is to improve opportunities for learners
to use English in the classroom.
Why use? A wise
statement saying 'I hear I forget, I see I know, and I understand my. This
means that if we have the experience of learning by observing, drawing, doing
and also what our eyes see and capture most of the time will live long in our
memories. Therefore, the statement reinforces berbahas to improve English by
using pictures (observe and then draw a picture) of a particular object in the
classroom as a medium for teaching English. Drawings as visual aids that will
attract the attention of students, and motivate them to learn. In addition,
using images of students means that students create or construct their
knowledge as they seek to give meaning to their experience.
